Tony Lacey
Tony has been the Chief Executive Officer since the Trust was formed in 2017. He has extensive experience as a leader in schools, including two substantive headships, two seconded headships, experience as a Local Leader in Education and over 9 years’ experience as a teacher. Tony was integral to the Trust being formed, being one of the founding Headteachers, and he is a passionate believer in Oak Trees. Tony leads the Trust in all areas, including being the Trust Accounting Officer, and is confident that Oak Trees will become a key educational player in the region in future years.

Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant, Claire was Audit and Managing Partner in accountancy practices in Liverpool for 18 years, latterly specialising in providing strategic advice and support to Large Registered Charities and local government organisations.
Claire joined the MAT six years ago and brings over 25 years of financial and operational experience.

Lisa Finnegan
Having qualified as a primary teacher in 2012, Lisa became Deputy Head and a Maths SLE in 2015. She was then appointed Principal of an outstanding primary school in 2017 which she led with her role as Director of the Teaching School. She has previously served as the Deputy CEO of a MAT in Lancashire where she secured a proven track record in rapid school improvement. She has successfully completed the NPQEL and has been appointed a NLE in the most recent round of designations. Lisa is also a serving Ofsted Inspector.
